Sorry I am not around but I have caught Issy's stomach bug and I have not been well. Also for some reason I cannot load photos to my blog the format seems to have gone up the spout. I do have some bits to show once I can get this sorted out. xx

BASIC GREY CHRISTMAS

Sorry I have not been around much over the last few days but Issy has been off school with a sick bug poor thing I hate seeing the kids sick. Anyway she is on the mend and hopefully be able to go back to scholl tomorrow.

Yesterday I had a go at making some Basic Grey xmas cards. This came as a kit from the Glitter Pot and I really enjoyed putting it all together. These papers are gorgeous. I also made a Xmas card using some Making Memories papers and a die cut frame from Craftwork Cards. I do think these are very cute and really effective. Sorry about the photos not sure what is wrong with the camera.

Finally I would like to wish Gina a happy birthday today hope you enjoy yourself hunny. hugs han xx

CUTE CARD THURSDAY NO 31

I decided to have a go at making one of these Ribbon trees. I saw this in a magazine a while ago and then also over on the fabby Marlene's blog so decided to have a go as I bought the polysterene trees a while ago. Anyway this is how it has turned out the photo is not too good but I have used mainly ribbons from Poppicrafts. Thanks for looking xx

DIFFERENT STYLE CARD

I decided as seeing as I did not go to watch my son play in the rugby tornament (to wet & cold for issy) I would spend some time creating this morning. I wanted to make a different style card for me as I normally just do a normal square - so I did a gatefold card using fancy pants paper. I am quite pleased with it may do a few more like this. WEDDING ALBUM

My brother Edward and his new wife Clare are flying home from their Honeymoon in the Maldives tomorrow and I have made them a little Album with just a few of the photos that we took of the day, that I can give them tomorrow. 10 year Wedding Anniversary

I made this card this evening using some new Anna Grifin fabric. I have used the fabric as the background but I have also stamped the Sarah Kay image onto the fabric and have "fabric pieced" onto the image - the trousers and top are made of fabric - I think it has worked quite well - would be grateful for any feeback. After suffering with a terrible migraine most of the weekend I decided to have a play this afternoon with the new papers at Funky Fairy Papercrafts. I am really loving these Shabby Chic papers. I have made myself a folder to keep photos in that I am going to scrapbook, as at the moment they are just in a drawer. Hope you are all having a nice day - we are being spoilt at the moment as Farnborough is about 2 miles down the road and the airshow is on this week and there are some fab displays including the red arrows everyday which we can watch from the back gardenxx

YESTERDAY !!

Yesterday we went to the Unilever (where my hubbie works) family fun day. Today I did the 5km race for life with my sister. We had a really good laugh but I must say my legs ache now and I am tired. I'M BACK

What a fab time we had and such stunning weather. We had a lovely first week camping and then the second week we stayed in a stunning house on Coniston Lake. We got back late last night as we had to come home via the M1 after the awful crash on the M6 yesterday morning. I have mountains of washing but at least I can dry it all outside. I will add some photos as soon as I have had a chance to download them onto the PC. I have missed my crafting and am very keen to get back into all the challenges.
One other piece of news that I am very excited about, I have had some of my cards published in this months Papercrafts Inspirations in the quick card section. It is very odd to see them there but I am very pleased :):):)....

HIGH HOPES!!!

I have the evening to myself as my son and hubbie have gone to the clubs football awards and my little girl has fallen asleep, so I decided to have a play with a new high hopes stamp that I got ages ago and have never used. This is stamp is so cute, I have coloured her in using Marvy le Plumes, added a bit of glitter, the paper is K&Co and the blooms are from my stash. Hope you like it and thanks for looking xx

HOTP

I had a bit of a break last night from making wedding cards etc and made some cards using a HOTP kit I got from QVC when I was there. The colours and papers in this kit are gorgeous and it also has beautiful ribbons and brads etc. I found it very relaxing to make as I did not have much brain and hand co-ordination last night - no change there then :):)

Hopefully off to the garden centre when the lads get back from football so I can get my bedding plants and hanging baskets. I think the weather is meant to be awful this afternoon so I maybe making the tubs and hanging baskets up in the conservatory - um lovely mess!!!! I hope you are all having a nice weekend. QVC CRAFT DAY!!!

Well where do I start I had a fab day yesterday. I was exceptionally nervous and have never made cards with my hands shaking before :):) The day was very well planned and we were looked after sooo well and everyone was so nice and VERY friendly. I got to meet some lovely people including Rosemary Merry and her husband who are lovely, Dawn Bibby and JJ, Amy, Julian, Julia, Craig and then also a whole group of people behind the stage including the producers and directors. We were also given a fab goody bag to take away. The whole day was amazing and it was exciting to see behind the scenes and how it all works. It was lovely to meet the other girls I crafted with, we all had such a laugh. Thanks for all your messages, all I can say is I am so glad I did not make a fool of myself (well I hope I didn't I have not seen it yet) xx

Well not such a little boy he is nearly 9 but today he has gone away for this first residential school trip. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cute Card Thursday Challenge

SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!

I have made this card with out using any paper (apart from the card itself) and only stamping. This is a very different look for me as I always use patterned paper or bazzill cardstock in some way or another. I am however happy with the way it has turned out. WHAT A FAB TIME !!!!

Well we are back from Disneyland where we had such an amazing time. The kids had a fantastic time, we stayed in the beautiful Disneyland Resort hotel which was about a minutes walk from the Park. The kids met some fab disney characters and went on some ace rides. I have put a few of the photos below however there are 100's so I am going to be starting a scrapbook very soon. I have just bought the Disney cricut cartridges to use. Anyway must get back to the mountain of washing and ironing. I will hopefully post a card soon. xx

NO CARDS TO SHOW

Just thought I would pop on and say sorry I have not been around for the last few days but I have been in bed with a really bad migraine that still has not gone. We are also leaving at 5 in the morning for Disneyland so I will post when I get back. xx

BOXES & BAGS

After making the box for Papertake Weekly I had a go at making some more boxes and bags using Pinkiepops from Funky Fairy Papercrafts. They are so easy to make and look very cute. Hope you like them xx

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - BOX CHALLENGE

This week at Papertake Weekly Claudia set a challenge to make a box. We were given measurements and scoring lines. Here is mine I have used the new Girl papers from Funky Fairy papercrafts (these are fab) and a large bloom. Hope you like it.

CUTE CARD THURSDAY "THINGS WITH WINGS"

The challenge for this week at cute card thusday is 'Things With Wings'. Anything with wings which is cute is fine for the challenge! I have used a new fairy stamp I got from First Class crafts last week and some making memories paper, some large brads and stickles glue. xx

Tilda & co weekly challenge - Stitch Me Up

I have used the In stitch'z fromBazzill template and thread and basic grey paper. This was a good challenge for me as I bought the templates a while ago but have not used them.

GLORIOUS SNOW!!!!

We all woke this morning to Issy screaming "SNOW Mummy, snow". Anyway here we all were at 8am this morning building a snowman in a blizzard - how silly!! I thought I would post a photo of him with my two Will & Issy.

Here is my card I have used a new stamp I bought yesterday when I went to Crafts U Love. What a fab shop and such lovely people they made me tea and gave Issy some chocolate biscuits. Definately worth a visit.xx
